Op 8 mei 2008 is het 60 jaar geleden dat Israël zich onafhankelijk verklaarde. EAJG presenteert tijdens deze viering in samenwerking met SIVMO het andere Israël, het Israël van de mensenrechten- en vredesgroepen. Filmfestival ‘Witnessed from Within’ - 14-18 mei Amsterdam

Israël viert in mei zestig jaar onafhankelijkheid. De Palestijnen herdenken dan de Nakba, de vlucht en verdrijving in 1948 van honderdduizenden Palestijnen. 'Witnessed from Within' werpt licht op schaduwkanten van Israël.
